Culture Kitchen has rebranded from Health Pack Meals to highlight its fast-casual style with global flavors and healthy ingredients.
The restaurant at 340 Main St. in Kentlands offers dine-in, takeout, and meal prep with signature bowls at $14.95 and kids bowls at $8.95.
Char’d is set to open its first Maryland restaurant at Pike & Rose, taking over the former BurgerFi space.
It will open late January to early February, pending final preparations, as Char’d expands its presence in Montgomery County.

Maryland lost nearly 25,000 federal jobs in 2025 — 10,300 in October and November — after federal workforce cuts reshaped the state’s labor landscape.
State officials offer job placement services and emergency aid for affected workers as the local economy adjusts.
🎓 Education
The Montgomery College Foundation received a $125,000 donation from Ken and Julie Cook to boost the Macklin Business Institute plus the nursing program, funding scholarships and enhancements.
The gift honors Gordon Macklin’s legacy and Pam Hard’s nursing career and reflects Cook’s 29 years of service.
Montgomery County Public Schools recommended mask use in school health rooms after rising respiratory illnesses such as COVID-19 & flu were reported on Thursday.
The guideline, based on state health advice, is optional and does not apply to other school areas.
At Thursday's MCPS board meeting, parents opposed the plan to close Wootton High School and shift students to the new Crown High School.
The board is inviting feedback through a survey before making a final decision on March 26.
