- ➤ Charley’s Cheesesteaks & Wings received a $250,000 permit to start the interior buildout at its new Woodmoor Shopping Center location at 10121 Colesville Road, located between Woodmoor Pastry Shop and Bento Express. - ➤ Construction will begin soon on the new Dunkin' store at 4011 Norbeck Rd in Rockville after Sassy Cleaners closed in June 2025, and the chain received its permit as it expands in the area. The MoCo Show

- ➤ The National Weather Service has issued an enhanced threat for a winter storm likely to impact the area on Saturday, January 24, with forecasts suggesting heavy snow from Saturday night through Sunday and possible travel disruptions. - ➤ Montgomery County DOT has announced Ride On Flex Zone 918, an on-demand zero-fare shuttle service that will launch Monday, Feb. 2. The service covers Ednor, Sandy Spring, Norwood, and Cloverly and runs along New Hampshire Avenue between Route 108 and the White Oak Transit Center (with accessibility options for disabled riders). - ➤ The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is asking volunteers to join the annual overnight Point-In-Time Count on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
