- ➤ Montgomery County native Mitchell Zack produced the feature film Bellyache, which premiered at Chandler International Film Festival on Jan. 25 and will screen at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth on Feb. 19. - ➤ Drivers are urged to avoid roads today as winter storm cleanup continues in the area and icy patches remain on less-trafficked streets. Officials warn that more snowfall may further delay plowing and could create hazardous driving conditions later this week. FOX 5

- ➤ Due to freezing temperatures and poor road conditions, MCDOT Ride On operated on an S Service Schedule on Monday, Jan. 26, using 40-foot buses on the US 29 Flash BRT Orange route for better traction. Officials monitored conditions and adjusted service to protect riders and staff. The MoCo Show
- ➤ Montgomery County is observing Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month this January, and local leaders, advocates & law enforcement officials are renewing efforts to support survivors and combat trafficking while reviewing a proposed bill to allow victim cellphone recordings in court.
