- ➤ Drivers are urged to avoid roads today as winter storm cleanup continues in the area and icy patches remain on less-trafficked streets. Officials warn that more snowfall may further delay plowing and could create hazardous driving conditions later this week. FOX 5

- ➤ Due to freezing temperatures and poor road conditions, MCDOT Ride On operated on an S Service Schedule on Monday, Jan. 26, using 40-foot buses on the US 29 Flash BRT Orange route for better traction. Officials monitored conditions and adjusted service to protect riders and staff. The MoCo Show
- ➤ Montgomery County is observing Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month this January, and local leaders, advocates & law enforcement officials are renewing efforts to support survivors and combat trafficking while reviewing a proposed bill to allow victim cellphone recordings in court.
