- ➤ Montgomery County Recreation is collecting formalwear for its Fifth Annual Prom Couture Closet giveaway set for Saturday, April 4 at Marilyn J. - ➤ That Smoothie Place in Damascus launched a Dirty Soda Drop menu of nine nonalcoholic soda mixes served in 24oz cups for $5.95; the shop hopes to attract local visitors + neighbors by adding sugar-free + dairy-free options if demand grows. The MoCo Show

- ➤ Road crews are using a cold patch — a temporary fix for potholes — as freezing temperatures delay asphalt repairs in nearby areas, and drivers in Maryland are advised to slow down and report issues if needed. WTOP
