- ➤ Local small businesses in the DMV can apply by March 31 to join the NFL Draft Source Program as suppliers for the 2027 NFL Draft in D.C. - ➤ Quincy's Golf & Social has opened at 245 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg, taking over the space that housed Not Your Average Joe's in Kentlands. - ➤ Nearly 100 local residents attended a Sunday ceremony at Johnson's Local Park to unveil interpretive signs honoring Emory Grove’s history (a community established in 1864 by formerly enslaved families). - ➤ The Maryland General Assembly honored two Montgomery County Public Schools Thursday as part of the revived Blue Ribbon Schools program (Gaithersburg’s Diamond Elementary and Clarksburg’s Wilson Wims Elementary were recognized in Annapolis for academic excellence and closing achievement gaps).
