🎭 Culture
Montgomery County Public Libraries will host the 'Many Languages, One Library: Celebrating Hindi' event at Germantown Library on Sunday, Apr.
12 from 2-3 p.m., unveiling a new Hindi-language collection of over 160 titles for all ages. Local officials and community partners will offer remarks to mark the occasion.

The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection announced that starting in October the Shady Grove Processing Facility will accept only construction and demolition materials weighing less than two tons while larger loads are directed to regional facilities.
The change aims to boost recycling and improve safety.
Montgomery County Council voted to designate the century-old Rose-Budd House as a historic resource in Sandy Spring today.
The designation protects the property from demolition while recognizing its role in preserving early local Black heritage — requested by the current owners following historic recommendations.
🏈 Sports
Montgomery County Public Schools won eight state championships over a dominant winter season in basketball, wrestling, and swim and dive.
Whitman High School led with two titles, while Blake High, Quince Orchard, Poolesville, Walter Johnson, and Churchill earned state championships (adding to numerous individual honors).
