Sweathouz signed a lease for a new Kentlands studio at 107 Market St W + the space previously housed Poke Bros; the contrast therapy studio plans to expand its Maryland footprint after opening its first site last year at Pike and Rose.

No opening date has been set.

Coming soon signage is now displayed for Carmen’s Italian Ice at the Cabin John Village shopping center in Potomac; the dessert shop (located next to Colony Pizza near Moby Dick) will offer frozen custard, Italian ice, gelatis, and shakes when it opens, although the date is yet to be confirmed.

Westfield Montgomery Mall has updated its retail lineup with new openings and store changes; Pop Mart will soon debut a brick-and-mortar store, Lifestyle Essentials has replaced It’Sugar, and upcoming openings include Beyond Yoga, Gorjana, Hey Tea, and Kami Ramen, while Falafel Inc. has closed (other changes are planned).
