Goodwill leased the space at 58 Market St. in Kentlands to create a Donation Express center that will accept household goods, apparel, electronics, and housewares—some items like books might be available for sale.

The opening date has not been set and will likely be later this year.

The 16th Gaithersburg Book Festival will take place on May 17 at Bohrer Park with free, day-long events that include workshops for teens, adults, and children, a poetry contest, and a special Children's Village with over 40 authors.
