- ➤ Rahama African Restaurant will open at 749 South Frederick Avenue in Walnut Hill Shopping Center, taking over the former La Vina space. The restaurant will serve West African dishes like jollof rice, waakye and fufu — joining Honey Baked Ham, House Of Fortune and upcoming Sheetz. The MoCo Show

- ➤ A historic phone booth at Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg still takes local calls for $.50 and serves as a living relic of the past. The booth, part of the airport since the 1960s, draws curious visitors (even regular patrons recall its days in use). The MoCo Show
- ➤ Montgomery County native Joy Dovy Selebangue is a finalist in Beast Games, a global competition with a $5M prize. He will represent his local roots + his international heritage, carrying his community onto the world stage. The MoCo Show
