CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Montgomery County police investigated a death after a man brought an unidentified Hispanic female with a gunshot wound to White Oak Medical Center on April 27 and left; she was pronounced dead soon after arrival and detectives are asking the public for help identifying her (early to mid-20s with tattoos on her right thigh, right forearm, left forearm, back, and above her right elbow) and a Hispanic male (driving a white Ford Mustang) who fled the scene. - ➤ On April 26, police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on Georgia Avenue at Aspen Hill Road — an adult man died after being hit and the driver of a silver Acura Integra remained at the scene — as investigators continue their work. FOX 5

- ➤ Montgomery County Board of Education announced winners of awards for Business Partner, Community Partner, and School Service Volunteer honors—recognizing key work that strengthens public education. - ➤ Jennifer Reidy-Hall, a 24 year veteran in law enforcement communications who retired from the Howard County Police Department in April, has been named Montgomery County Police Department’s new Director of Emergency Communications.
