ICE indicted Gaithersburg resident Eric Tano Tataw for allegedly raising over $110,000 to fund separatist militias in Cameroon—he is accused of using social media to call for violent attacks on civilians.

A Gaithersburg man, 31-year-old Alex Alexander, was fatally shot early May 3 at about 12:23 a.m. in southeast Washington, D.C when officers responded to a shooting on the 500 block of Newcomb Street (the case is under investigation).

Montgomery County Police arrested a second suspect in the Montgomery Village homicide case when he voluntarily surrendered on May 4 and he was charged with first-degree murder.
