Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls will reopen at 201A Boardwalk Place at Rio Lakefront on May 7 under new ownership.

The fast-casual spot will offer a buy one, get one 50% off deal on lobster rolls through the end of May.

Yesterday, May 4, Royal Farms opened its second Montgomery County location at 9475 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, offering 24/7 made-to-order fried chicken, breakfast items, and sandwiches, and plans for a third location near an existing Gaithersburg store are underway.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is a finalist for the 2026 National Gold Medal Award and the winner will be announced in September at a national conference in Philadelphia (the honor recognizes outstanding leadership and planning) as local efforts propel park experiences.
