- ➤ Burlington has posted 'Coming Soon' signage at 19142 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village Center to replace Big Lots that closed in March. The off-price retailer, which also runs a store at 600 N Frederick Ave in Gaithersburg, will open the new location soon — more details are expected as they become available. The MoCo Show
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Montgomery County announced today a proposal for its first Tax Increment Financing plan to support the $2.8 billion Viva White Oak development in East County—a mixed-use project that will bring thousands of construction and permanent jobs, over 5,000 homes and new public amenities. The proposal will be presented to the County Council later this month to fund improved roads, sidewalks and essential infrastructure. The MoCo Show
