ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Emergency crews rescued two people who clung to a tree in the Potomac River near a waterfall after their boat swept away Saturday — both received treatment for minor injuries — as officials explained that strong currents and above-normal water levels followed recent storms. WTOP
- ➤ On Sunday morning, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a vehicle rollover on N Frederick Avenue near Lake Forest Boulevard and Montgomery Village Avenue in Gaithersburg—where a driver was trapped but later freed and taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries—and blocked lanes until the scene was cleared. - ➤ Flip Circus will perform at Montgomery Mall from June 13 to 24 under a red and white tent — near the Old Navy entrance — with acts including clowns, jugglers, acrobats, and aerialists.
