Montgomery County Recreation will host the 14th Annual White Oak Day on Saturday, June 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at White Oak Community Recreation Center in Silver Spring, featuring games, inflatables & live music, food and vendors for all ages.

Signage for Kitchen Social’s first Maryland location has been approved at Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg at 203 Crown Park Avenue, and the Ohio-based restaurant is moving forward with a $2 million interior renovation + minor facade updates as it prepares to open in 2026.
