ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday morning to an automatic alarm on the 3400-block of Robey Terrace in Burtonsville where firefighters controlled a small second-floor bedroom fire using the sprinkler system and evaluated one occupant with a minor injury who refused treatment. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police arrested two men, aged 64 and 62, on charges of three armed bank robberies at M&T Bank and Capital One Bank, with the latest incident on March 18—both remain in custody. FOX 5
- ➤ In April, the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force joined Operation Safe Online Summer—conducting 595 investigations that led to 41 arrests and rescuing 17 child victims—while strengthening efforts against online exploitation. The MoCo Show
- ➤ Montgomery County Police are asking for help to identify a person of interest captured in Clarksburg on June 4 at around 10:21 p.m.—the suspect is a male seen in blue shorts, a black t-shirt, and white sneakers, and a reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest. - ➤ Montgomery County Councilmember Andrew Friedson announced today his campaign for County Executive and joins fellow councilmembers Evan Glass and Will Jawando to make the county more affordable, support economic growth, and protect shared community values—he is set to begin the grassroots kickoff event on June 22.
