Montgomery County Police secured the scene on the 600 block of Blandford St. in Rockville after a homicide occurred Saturday morning—MCPD began investigating at 9:17 a.m. and said more details will be released.
Montgomery County’s 26th annual Heritage Days Festival will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, offering free tours, exhibits and live music about local history, art and outdoor fun.

Brown joined 51 other state attorneys general by filing an amicus brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals to support a veteran’s request for full GI Bill benefits and the right to share them with family. He said Lieutenant Colonel Paul Yoon (a veteran with nearly 24 years of service) was blocked by the VA from transferring his benefits to his daughter (a move that contradicts a recent Supreme Court ruling).
