On June 4 at approximately 9:18 p.m., Montgomery County police received a 911 call about an 8-year-old autistic girl missing from her Germantown home and, after community members reported seeing her running through traffic near Middlebrook Road and Frederick Road, they rescued her safely—reuniting her with her mother shortly after.
