Montgomery County Fire and Rescue (MCFRS FS715 Burtonsville), Montgomery County Police, and Animal Services rescued a cat trapped in a car engine during extreme heat on June 30th, 2025 with assistance from rescue volunteer Liza Kudel of Home of Their Own Rescue.
