- ➤ On July 10, a tractor-trailer dangled off the Beltway Bridge near Old Georgetown Road—after a crash pinned the driver to the cab and caused refrigerated mushrooms and fuel to spill onto the road while crews worked to reroute traffic via MD-187 and remove the vehicle. Montgomery Community Media

- ➤ Detectives from Montgomery County Police 5th District Investigative Section are asking for help finding 77-year-old Esther Chemai from Germantown who was last seen at 10 a.m. leaving Bethesda Metro Station in the 7400 block of Wisconsin Avenue and is believed to be driving a black 2011 Ford Escape (license plate 2BF4490).
