Community members support the family of Wilber, a longtime restaurant employee at Alatri Bros, as his sister’s GoFundMe raises funds for his burial in El Salvador.

Restaurant owners will hold a fundraiser to help cover costs while neighbors are urged to donate and share the effort.

Cafecito is set to open a coffee shop inside the Whip Clean Car Wash at Festival at Muddy Branch in Gaithersburg later this month; patrons can enjoy handcrafted coffee and seasonal drinks (next to Best Friends Pet Resort) as the new facility nears completion (across from Lotte Plaza Market).

Spirit Halloween is set to open a seasonal store at Clarksburg Premium Outlets (the first confirmed Montgomery County location for the 2026 Halloween season).
