Neighbors Coffee is celebrating its one-year anniversary this weekend at its 1101 Nelson Street location in Rockville, where founders Spencer and Lulu Trach will serve an All-Star Menu with selections chosen by customers (a nod to community support).
🚧 Accidents
On Thursday at 3:30 p.m., a 10-year-old girl was bitten by a beaver while canoeing during summer camp at Seneca Creek State Park near Berryville Road — officials closed a mile-long trail while they search for the animal.
🎓 Education
Montgomery County Public Schools will host six Back-to-School Fairs on Aug.
22 for families to connect with school communities. Fairs will run at different times for high school clusters and provide access to MCPS staff for transportation, special education, and other services.
