- ➤ Brandon Cheng of Sole Inspires and Chris Patterson of Bangin’ BBQ are hosting a free Back-to-School Drive at Northwest High School on Saturday, August 24th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm—students will receive backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, food, and fun activities. - ➤ The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center will offer free pet adoptions on August 23rd and 24th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 7315 Muncaster Mill Rd. in Derwood — visitors must reserve an online appointment and bring a photo ID and carrier or leash to complete the process.
