- ➤ Taco Bar El Güero in Gaithersburg was named on Yelp’s national list of 10 Don’t-Miss Gas Station Restaurants 2025 for its tasty, family-owned food—now the restaurant will relocate to Downtown Crown and rebrand as El Güero Mexicano in September/October after over 20 years of serving locals. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced on August 22 that he will not file charges against Gaithersburg police officers involved in the December 24 in-custody death of Marvin Salamanca Garcia—an investigation by the IID found the officers did not break Maryland law. The MoCo Show
