- ➤ The Lancaster County Dutch Market at 12613 Wisteria Drive in Germantown is celebrating its 29th anniversary with customer appreciation days scheduled from September 4 to 6 (featuring an outdoor BBQ, pig roast, and free coffee, doughnuts and lemonade). ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services and U.S. Park Rangers responded Sunday at Great Falls Park at the end of Ford Mine Trail to help a female hiker who suffered a non-life-threatening head injury after a fall — crews checked her condition before transporting her for further care. - ➤ The Montgomery County Police Department reported that Luis Antonio Quintanilla, aged 39, who was wanted for fatally shooting his partner Maritza Ferman Sorto in Gaithersburg on August 31, was arrested in Irving, Texas—he will be extradited to Maryland. The MoCo Show
- ➤ Early Monday, Montgomery County Police and Gaithersburg City Police responded to a stabbing on East Diamond Avenue—one man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and a suspect was taken into custody—ensuring the scene was secure. The MoCo Show
