Irene’s Pupusas has opened its newest restaurant at 12854 New Hampshire Ave in Colesville’s Meadowood shopping center, a space that once housed Kat’s Kitchen and Dominic’s Italian Grille.
It honors late Irene Cuevas by serving traditional pupusas along with a mix of Salvadoran and Honduran dishes—its menu also includes tacos, soups and more.
Multiple new restaurants and businesses are scheduled to open soon in Gaithersburg—Andy’s Pizza, Chipotle, Fish Taco, HomMali Thai Dining and others will debut in redeveloped shopping centers across the city—while PJ’s Coffee, Sixty Vines, and additional spots are planned for a fall opening with further details to come.
