- ➤ Mrs. Sakina Ali Mohammed, a founder of Maryland’s Muslim community and a key member of Silver Spring’s Muslim Community Center board, died peacefully at her home on October 3 at 3:12 p.m. She worked hard for marginalized groups and is survived by her children, grandchildren and extended family.
