- ➤ Montgomery Parks is reopening the annual Garden of Lights display at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton on November 21 at 5 p.m. Tickets will be sold online starting October 13 at 10 a.m.—the event runs nightly until January 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. The MoCo Show

- ➤ Marriott International and the Foundation for Hospitality and Restaurant Management partnered to give eight MCPS educators hands-on culinary training at Marriott’s International Corporate Test Kitchen—led by Chef Stephen Toevs who demonstrated new industry trends for culinary education. - ➤ The Montgomery County Council will hold its annual Youth Town Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Council Office Building (100 Maryland Ave, Rockville) for students to share their ideas and questions. - ➤ MCDOT’s annual bike donation drive held in Rockville on Oct. 3 collected a record 334 bicycles—exceeding 306 in 2024 and 297 in 2023—and volunteers refurbished the bikes for residents in need, recycling those that could not be repaired. The MoCo Show
