Sunday Morning Bakehouse, the beloved Pike & Rose bakery and café founded by Montgomery County native Caroline Yi, was named one of the Best Bakeries Around DC by Eater DC on October 26.
It expanded to a Virginia location at 1796 Chain Bridge Road after drawing customers from across state lines and was praised for its pastries and coffee.
Philadelphia-based fast-casual restaurant honeygrow will open a new location at 10721 Columbia Pike in Silver Spring—replacing the former California Tortilla—and add another dining option to the area.
The restaurant is known for its customizable stir-fry bowls, salads, and signature dessert bowls and has not yet announced an opening date.
