- ➤ After more than 200 years of seasonal forecasting, the Farmers’ Almanac announced that its final edition will be released in 2026 and predicted a cold, snow-filled winter for the Mid-Atlantic. - ➤ Residents and local officials gathered on Wednesday to oppose a plan to cut federal housing aid by 70% that now supports over 750 residents at Seneca Heights Apartments—leaders warn this move could displace over 400 people and cost the county about $10 million.
