🎓 Education
Rachel Carson Elementary School principal Mindy Reeves has been honored with the Connected Leader Award from the Maryland Association of Elementary School Principals — a recognition that also posthumously honored her late mentor Tom Garner who passed in October.
Reeves, who has spent 25 years in education, embraced the award in a full-circle moment as she continues her leadership in Gaithersburg.

Gaithersburg native Stefon Diggs and Rockville native Mack Hollins helped the Patriots reach an NFL-best 8-2 record on Sunday — Diggs caught a touchdown and Hollins gained over 100 yards — making the team stronger.
