- ➤ California Fish Grill is set to officially open its first Maryland location today in Montgomery County—at 12238 Rockville Pike. The fast-casual restaurant hosted a preview event this weekend offering complimentary meals to guests. The MoCo Show
- ➤ Paisano’s, a local DMV pizza chain with locations in Gaithersburg, Germantown, and Rockville, is offering a free franchise opportunity to an honorably discharged veteran who will run a franchise in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, D.C.—nominations remain open through December 31 and a winner will be chosen in 2026. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rachel Carson Elementary School principal Mindy Reeves has been honored with the Connected Leader Award from the Maryland Association of Elementary School Principals — a recognition that also posthumously honored her late mentor Tom Garner who passed in October.
