Montgomery Village will mark its 60th anniversary in 2026 with a yearlong series of community events organized by the Montgomery Village Foundation.

Permanent signage is up for Andy's Pizza at 145 Commerce Square Place in Kentlands, taking over the space where MOD Pizza closed in March 2024.
An employee said the restaurant—Andy’s second in Montgomery County—will open soon to serve local pizza fans.
On November 11th, Seneca Valley High School second-year carpentry, HVAC, and electrical students toured a construction site hosted by Whiting-Turner Contracting in Germantown.
They learned about safety, specialized trades, and a potential partnership to build storage units for Northwood High School.
