Many new restaurants and stores will open soon in Gaithersburg, including Andy’s Pizza replacing MOD Pizza in Kentlands, Chipotle at Walnut Hill, Fish Taco at The Shops of Potomac Valley, and Guapo’s Taqueria and Charcoal Chicken on Darnestown Road.

Hobby Lobby is hiring for its first Montgomery County store, and PJ’s Coffee plus Tatte Bakery & Cafe are expected to open as local developers upgrade spaces (some in spring and late summer) (with new signage and remodels planned).

Andy’s Pizza will officially open its new Kentlands restaurant at 145 Commerce Pl. in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, November 19 after a friends-and-family soft opening today—this is part of the chain’s rapid expansion as a third location is planned in Westfield Montgomery Mall.

Capital Weather Gang's outlook published yesterday forecasts a colder winter with 8–14 inches in the D.C. area and 10–18 inches in most of Montgomery County, while the southeastern part is expected to see 8–14 inches.
