- ➤ Montgomery Parks began a major renovation of the South Germantown Adventure Playground (7-acre) at 17920 Germantown Park Drive on Dec. 1, updating play areas, accessible walkways, and picnic spaces. The park will reopen in summer 2026 while bathrooms and much of the parking lot stay open. The MoCo Show
- ➤ Stained Glass Pub announced the loss of longtime team member Sherri Fisher, who passed away Dec. 3 surrounded by family. Her warm spirit and dedicated service united the team and customers, and her family will host a celebration of life when details are available. The MoCo Show

- ➤ Coming soon signage is up at the former Bach to Rock space at 212 Boardwalk Place as Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen prepares to bring its well-rated Lebanese fare to Rio Lakefront (opening date not yet announced). The MoCo Show
- ➤ The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce and Germantown Town Center have partnered with local businesses to offer seasonal discounts for MoCo residents.
