Marathon Deli, a beloved College Park eatery, will open its first Montgomery County spot at Crossroads at Kensington (10619 Connecticut Avenue) on Friday, May 8 at 5 p.m. The family owned restaurant is known for Greek specialties and classic deli fare.

Montgomery County's Reforest Montgomery program received an Award of Merit from the American Planning Association at its National Planning Conference in Detroit.
